Hi, I’m Raymond Griffin!
I'm a designer and photographer.
My artistic journey began at an early age. Growing up I took many community art classes, and was always enrolled in a school art class from Elementary to High School. I learned to create with and work in a variety of mediums. In High School I served as the Art Club President and was nominated as the Visual Arts Sterling Scholar. After graduating, I went on to Brigham Young University where I studied Business Management, Web and Graphic Design, and graduated in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts in Design.
While as a student at BYU I worked as a graphic designer at two locations. I first started at the Theatre and Media Arts Department where I created everything from fliers, logos, posters, and a book, to advertising and marketing material. I then went on to work at the Museum of Peoples and Cultures where I created educational material for the Museum's events and activities.  After 6 months, I was promoted and given the chance to redesign their website and to design their exhibits as their main exhibit designer. In this role I worked with the museum director and curators to design each exhibit from proof of concept to completion. Over the two years I worked at the Museum, I was able to design 3 exhibits at the Museum and 1 at the Education in Zion Gallery in the Joseph F. Smith Building.
After I graduated from BYU, I went on to work part-time at Thanksgiving Point as an exhibits assistant. In this role I designed, fabricated, and maintained a variety of permanent and traveling exhibits in the Museum of Ancient Life, Museum of Natural Curiosity, and Farm Country.

From Thanksgiving Point I was hired on full-time at ResNexus as a website designer. In this role, I designed over 50 hospitality websites for clients across the country. After 1 year, I was promoted to the website team lead. In this role I provided training in online marketing, design, SEO content writing, and commercial interior photography. I designed new templates for my team, coded new headers and footers in HTML and CSS, and I oversaw the production of over 260 websites.
After 7 months as the website team lead, I was promoted to website manager. As the manager of the website team I oversaw a team of five designers, three content writers, and two SEO specialists. I created and presented webinars on website and photography basics. I provided professional drone and photography for dozens of clients across the country. I redesigned ResNexus company’s website while overseeing the production of over 180 client websites. I also created a 4 week training curriculum for new hires.
In October 2020, I moved to Bountiful, UT where I started Raymond Griffin Studios, LLC, a design and photography studio. Working as an entrepreneur in this role I managed all the business operations including marketing, advertising, social media posts, accounting, product positioning, e-commerce products, and professional photography and design services for a variety of clients. Client work has ranged from portrait, product and lifestyle photography to app, web, icon, and graphic design.
Most recently I have been working for Loveland Innovations as a UX/UI designer on their product team. In this role I have designed icons, graphics, and low and high fidelity wireframes and prototypes for their desktop and mobile app software.
